Caregivers

For Caregivers with Lived Experience

Each year, 60,000 Canadians are diagnosed with heart failure, as reported by the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research. One in two Canadians have been touched by heart disease.

Being a caregiver adds an extra layer of responsibility to your life, whether you're a parent, relative, or friend. Now couple this with managing a loved one's heart failure diagnosis and you can see why caregivers need support too.

Family and friend caregivers have a unique role in supporting their loved ones living with heart failure. In recognition of this role, and the needs of caregivers for support independent from that of patients, we offer resources designed specifically for you.
